SBI के बैंक खातों में मिनिमम बैलेंस नहीं रखा, तो लगेगा जुर्माना

देश के सबसे बड़े सरकारी बैंक एसबीआई ने पांच साल के अंतराल के बाद एक बार फिर से बैंक खाते में मिनिमम बैलेंस नहीं रखने पर जुर्माना वसूलने का फैसला किया है. यह जुर्माना 1 अप्रैल से लागू होगा.

भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) ने इसके अलावा एटीएम सहित दूसरी सेवाओं के चार्ज में भी बदलाव किया है. एसबीआई के नए नियमों के अनुसार सेविंग अकाउंट्स में तीन बाद कैश जमा कराना निशुल्क रहेगा. लेकिन इसके बाद हर कैश ट्राजैक्शन पर 50 रुपये का चार्ज और सर्विस चार्ज देना होगा. वहीं करंट अकाउंट के मामले में यह चार्ज अधिकतम 20,000 रुपये भी हो सकता है.

एसबीआई के नए नियमों के अनुसार, अगर आप अपने बैंक खातों में निर्धारित मिनिमम ऐवरेज बैलेंस (एमएबी) नहीं रखते, तो हर महीने 100 रुपये तक का जुर्माना लगाया जा सकता है और इस पर आपको सर्विस टैक्स भी देना होगा.

नए नियमों के अनुसार, एमएबी शुल्क बैंक शाखा की जगह के हिसाब से अलग-अलग हो सकता है. शहरी इलाके के खाताधारकों के खाते में अगर मिनिमम बैलेंस 5,000 रुपये का 75% होगी, तो उन्हें जुर्माने के रूप में 100 रुपये और उस पर सर्विस टैक्स देना होगा. वहीं अगर बकाया न्यूनतम राशि के 50 प्रतिशत अथवा उससे भी कम है तो ऐसी स्थिति में बैंक 50 रपये और सर्विस टैक्स वसूलेगा। तो ग्रामीण इलाकों के खाताधारकों के मामले में यह जुर्माना न्यूनतम रह सकता है.

इसी तरह स्टेट बैंक के ग्राहकों को एक महीने में दूसरे बैंक के एटीएम से तीन बार से ज्यादा कैश निकालने पर 20 रुपये का चार्ज देना होगा. वहीं अगर ग्राहक एसबीआई के एटीएम से पांच से ज्यादा ट्रांजैक्शन करता है तो हर बार 10 रुपये का शुल्क लिया जाएगा.

हालांकि, एसबीआई खुद के एटीएम से तब कोई शुल्क नहीं लगाएगी, जबकि संबंधित व्यक्ति के खाते में 25,000 रुपये से अधिक बैलेंस रहता है. वहीं खाते में एक लाख रुपये से ज्यादा बैलेंस रहने पर स्टेट बैंक के ग्राहक दूसरे बैंकों के एटीएम से जितनी बार चाहें ट्रांजैक्शन कर सकते हैं. इसके लिए उनसे कोई चार्ज नहीं लिया जाएगा.

इसके अलावा एसबीआई के डेबिट कार्डधारकों से SMS अलर्ट भेजने के लिए बैंक हर तिमाही 15 रुपये का चार्ज करेग, जो त्रैमासिक आधार पर औसत 25,000 रुपये की बकाया राशि खाते में रखते हैं.

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने इन नए नियमों पर बैंकों को इजाजत दे दी है और ये शुल्क इस साल 1 अप्रैल से लागू हो जाएंगे.

Banks to levy Rs.150 charges after four transactions.



HDFC Bank on Wednesday announced a hike on charges applicable on cash transactions, in line with the policies set by ICICI and Axis Bank, which have restored their previous charges on cash transactions.
The move is essentially being seen as an attempt to discourage cash transactions and make a move towards a digitized economy.
So, starting now you might have to spend more on any transaction over the banks’ limit. Of course, different banks have set different guidelines for its customers.
Here’s how you will be impacted if you are an account holder at any of these banks:
HDFC bank account holders:
HDFC bank customers will be most affected by its new rule. However, here are some basic parameters over which they would be charged for a cash transaction.
First four cash transactions (deposits or withdrawals) in a month are free. Starting from the fifth one, the customer will be charged Rs.150 per transaction.
Home branch customers will have the privilege over non-home branch customers. Home branch customers are allowed to transact up to Rs.2 lakhs, while non-home branch customers are restricted to Rs.25,000 in a day.
Further, both home and non-home branch customers would be charged at the rate of Rs.5 per Rs1,000 or Rs.150.
Axis bank account holders:
The new policy seems less troublesome for Axis bank customers. They will be allowed five free transactions every month and after that they would have to pay Rs.95 per transaction.
Non-home branch account holders will be restricted up to Rs.50,000 per day. Beyond the capped amount, the bank would charge them with Rs.2.50 per Rs 1,000, or Rs.95 per transaction.
ICICI Bank account holders:
ICICI bank customers will not be charged for first four transactions, while Rs.5 per thousand rupees or a minimum of Rs.150 would be charged, thereafter.
An added policy here is that the third party cash transactions would be limited up to Rs.50,000 per day.
The bank will not charge anything on first cash transaction of a month, though Rs.5 per thousand rupees or a minimum of Rs.150 would be charged thereafter.
Account holders in SBI/PNB
State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank have not announced a hike on cash transactions’ charge so far neither has any other private bank, though they are expected to follow the trend in near future.
